At What Cost? A symbolic yet open-ended question that encompasses many issues plaguing us today. At what cost do more people have to suffer to uphold the “white” ego?

I want to encourage viewers to examine their own position as it pertains to the unrest in our country. I utilize vintage wallpaper and magazine cutouts as my vehicle of protest. These materials allow me to express the fact that we haven’t come as far as we like to think we have. By juxtaposing contrasting images from multiple decades, we can begin to collectively unpack America’s trauma.
