This billboard speaks to the irony of using a democratic right, the right to assembly, to save itself from the current state of our failing democracy. This image was taken during the height of the George Floyd protests on the steps of the federal courthouse in Los Angeles, CA, but sadly it’s an image that could have been taken anywhere in the US during the recent social uprisings.
