An artist-led reimagining of television news as well as an art installation, performance, and conversation, FFN is a rallying cry from the For Freedoms ecosystem, encouraging creative civic participation.
To build creative civic engagement, as For Freedoms always do, using the aesthetic and format of broadcast news. In the past, For Freedoms has taken over static media (billboards) with artists’ visions. Now the artist collective aim to inject creative thinking into a medium that is simultaneously the paragon of civic discourse and the ultimate advertising space: broadcast news.

For Freedoms News at Untitled Art Miami will feature our news desk and spotlight our special report: EYES ON IRAN. We will host an array of artist performances and conversations, as well as showcase live and pre-recorded news content. Our roving “reporters on the street” will also report live across Miami and engage artists, collectors, dealers, press and other fair goers about art, value, politics and society.
EYES ON IRAN in Miami will coincide with a multimedia art installation in Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms State Park, as well as flying artist billboards ‘Eyes in the Sky’ across South Beach and NYC in partnership with Vital Voices and the Woman, Life, Freedom global coalition of Iranian women leaders.
