Artists and thought leaders Hank Willis Thomas, Eric M. Anderson, Erin Genia, Sabrina Dorsainvil, and Eric Gottesman will explore themes of love and compassion in a conversation moderated by Yng-Ru Chen of Praise Shadows Art Gallery and organized in collaboration with For Freedoms.

This Town Hall takes inspiration from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy, the Gardner's Titus Kaphar: The Jerome Project exhibition, and The Embrace by Hank Willis Thomas, the first memorial to honor Dr. King and Coretta Scott King on Boston Common. Together, speakers will respond to questions related to art, memory, civic engagement, and justice.
